COLD STORES
We offer a wide range of services for customers operating commercial static refrigeration systems. We can advise on preventative maintenance strategies and offer scheduled maintenance plans which help minimise plant breakdowns and prevent loss of production.
We offer both Installations of new systems or upgrades to existing systems and can give guidance on compliance with the ECF F-Gas and Ozone Regulations, as responsibility is defined as “the natural or legal person exercising actual power over technical functioning of the equipments and system.”
LCL’s expertise also extends to retro-fitting and gas conversions which can reduce your environmental impact and promote social responsibility.

ROAD TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION AND AIR CONDITIONING
Working to strict international guidelines and regulations, our engineers carry out routine servicing and repairs of refrigeration and air conditioning systems for trailers, trucks, light vans, cars, earth moving equipment, cranes and agricultural machinery.
We offer comprehensive servicing packages for temperature controlled road transport vehicles which can be tailored to the specific needs of the customer. Our services also extend to calibrations, using our UKAS calibrated temperature monitoring equipment.
Our engineers are experienced with servicing and repair work on all of the major manufacturers of road transport refrigeration. Our strong partnerships with these manufacturers allows us to transfer cost savings onto our customers. LCL has dealerships and working arrangements with some of the world’s leading equipment manufacturers.
REFRIGERATED CONTAINERS AND MODULAR COLD ROOMS
Since the 1960’s our engineering staff have been repairing refrigerated containers, having started in the industry by converting cargo ships into container carriers.
Today our engineers provide a rapid response refrigeration repair service to clients working through the six ports in the north east. As well as for clients operating domestic refrigerated containers and modular cold stores.
VEHICLE HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEMS
Lifting and Cooling can ensure efficient vehicle working environments using Webasto heating and Air Conditioning Systems.
Webasto heaters provide an efficient working environment even at extreme outdoor temperatures and in bad weather
conditions. In addition, the efficient water heaters eliminate cold starts. The compact air heaters for the interior are also an
effective and low-cost solution.
Webasto provides a range of air-conditioning solutions based on diverse technologies. Special systems charge the cold accumulators while the vehicle is moving, and these cold temperatures are emitted when the vehicle is parked.
